About the Role
A Armed Security Officer is an individual who currently holds an active Class "D" (Security Officer) and Class "G" (Statewide Firearms) License issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service.
Security Officer Job Responsibilities:
Our clients rely on us to protect and secure their assets by providing the most professional service possible. To achieve that goal our Security Officers are required to perform some basic duties while on duty in addition to site-specific instruction.
Prevents losses and damages by reporting irregularities and informing violators of the client’s policy and procedures.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Interview witnesses and obtain signatures as needed.
Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work Hours:
15:30 to 23.30
Requirements
Armed Security Officer Qualifications and Skills:
Must be able to stand for prolonged times while on duty.
